Backyard Beekeeping For The Curious

Curious about keeping honey bees in your backyard? In this class, you’ll be introduced to the basics of what it takes to start and maintain a beehive (or two) in your yard as well as connected with the resources you need to learn more and get started right! The workshop is presented by Ian Campbell, a backyard beekeeper, certified apprentice beekeeper, and member of the SC State Beekeepers Association.

Each participant will go home with a native perennial to encourage their own bee population.
